Designed to stand out.

It all started when I finished my enlistment in the US Navy. Like many veterans I was struggling to adapt to the civilian life, upon my first introduction to fly fishing with Project Healing Water I became addicted. Few of the guys talking about tying your fly and hooking a fish and landing it. The image became imbedded in my brain. I was on a quest to find the one fly that can make my imbedded image come true. The first fly later that spring was a caddis dry fly and I hooked my first fish a rainbow trout. Shortly after that the streamer game was introduced to me and man was I in love. I have spend endless hours reading books, watching videos, watching others casting, swinging or stripping streamers. My obsession with streamer fishing still goes on. Developing streamer to imitate baitfish is honestly pretty simple, but getting them to swim is another story. Altering the pattern until it moves, sways pushes water is the hard part. Old patterns get tons or respect. My all time favorite is the Clouser Minnow.
